After over a decade of experience in implementing and developing business intelligence, we have come to realize that most business intelligence projects end up creating layers between analysts and data and don’t actually give decision makers actionable information. Often this is because analysts and decision makers are not also trained information technology professionals. Our idea is to give these people a solution which allows them to use Excel which they already know and like but make it more powerful so that it can manage large amounts of data.
We know that this type of application will not be used on a daily basis like e-mail, so we have created an intuitive database which has been refined through user feedback.
Because we want users to be able to go right to the source of data when they make their analyses, we made Vizubi compatible with a wide array of data sources. We also wanted to make sure that performance was exceptional so we created a columnar in-memory associative database management engine for our solution. The results are just that – exceptional.
We also wanted to make sure that no one was left behind so we made Vizubi compatible with Windows XP and Vista and Excel 2003 and Excel 2007.
