We’ve just released Vizubi version 1.5.0.1. This version contains a single improvement; Vizubi now supports proxy authentication. Thanks to Vincent for the heads up on that.

All versions of Vizubi require internet access when it they are activated. Some companies use proxy servers and Vizubi has always supported this. What we missed was that in some cases, it is necessary to insert the proxy userid and password for authentication: support for this has been put into the current version.

Now, when you try to activate Vizubi and your proxy requires a userid and password, a window will open allowing you to insert these two parameters. The proxy userid and password are then saved and can be modified by clicking on the options button in the tools group of the ribbon and selecting Newtork. If the network credentials change just modify them and you’ll be all set. There’s no need to specify an ip address, Vizubi can figure that out all by itself.
